Melanie Mandl
With a BFA in Sculpture and Extended Media from Virginia Commonwealth University, Melanie is a visual artist and award-winning filmmaker who has worked as an art director, animator, model and prop maker, and puppeteer. She currently works as a commercial director and production designer and is the co-founder of Keystone Art Space in Glassell Park, Los Angeles.
Kelsey Wintringham
Kelsey is a community minded entrepreneur with a passion for youth development. In addition to managing small business The Classroom LA, she draws from her 15 years of diverse behavioral therapy experience to provide creative behavior intervention to children with autism across Los Angeles. She has also served as a board member of the Greater Echo Park Elysian Neighborhood Council, where she took on the roles of LA Dodgers liaison, Elections chair, Outreach Vice Chair, and member of the Bylaws Committee.
Luiz Sampaio
Luiz Sampaio has worked as an educator and community organizer in Los Angeles for over 25 years. He served as the visual arts administrator for Los Angeles Unified School District, overseeing an innovative itinerant visual arts program that serviced all elementary schools in the district. Luiz was a board member and active participant in the non-profit organization VIVA, Gay & Lesbian Latino Art and Artists during its most active years in the 1990s, producing numerous arts events and publications. Education includes a Bachelors degree in art from UCLA, and a Masters degree in art education from Cal State Los Angeles.
CHRISTINA TONGES KORN
Christina Tonges Korn is a teaching artist with ten years of experience facilitating meaningful art making experiences for students all over Los Angeles. She has a BFA in Art Education from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in collaboration with Tufts University and is dedicated to her own studio practice in painting. Christina is currently working through Urban Arts Partnership to provide arts integrated curriculum to students at Bancroft Middle School in Hollywood.
